Rebecca is a dedicated arts educator with over two decades of experience teaching in Los Angeles. Since 2017, she has been leading the ceramics program at Inner-City Arts. Her passion for ceramics began in high school and has since evolved into a thriving home studio practice teaching adults and teens, where she has shared her love for all things clay since 2010. Rebecca's teaching philosophy revolves around child centered learning, where she encourages her students and nurtures their self-confidence and individual capabilities through the arts. Her dedication to her craft is evident in her academic journey which includes earning a BFA with an emphasis in Ceramics from California State University Chico. She further refined her skills and expanded her knowledge through educational pursuits at the San Francisco Art Institute and Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle. Rebecca is a lifelong learner who continually strives to expand her knowledge and improve her skills. When she is not working, you can find Rebecca in her studio creating her own art or hiking with her dog.
