Eva is a practicing visual and teaching artist with an M.A.Ed. from The Art of Education University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Printmaking “La Esmeralda” from the Fine Arts Institute of Mexico. She is the lead Visual Arts teaching artist at Inner-City Arts, where she has worked for over 27 years. In addition, she has taught visual arts to both children and adults in many different arts organizations in the US and Mexico such as USC Fisher Museum of Art's “Art in the Village” series, LACMA’s “Evening for Educators” series, Self-Help Graphics and Anahuac University in Mexico City.
