Year after year, Summer on Seventh continues to be an amazing celebration that brings together people from all over Los Angeles to experience the fun and transformational power of creativity, but this year seemed especially memorable!
We welcomed hundreds of Angelenos to our campus to enjoy musical performances from Mark Ronson, Mayer Hawthorne, Travis Holcombe, and DJs from dublab. Friends and supporters engaged in creative happenings in our studios while our campus was taken over by interactive and site-specific installations, performance pieces, and neon art by artists: Eric Junker in collaboration with Andrew Embury, Norberto Rodriguez, Lisa Schulte, Mandel Lum, and Dana Eitches. All the while, guests ate and drank delicious food and libations from some of LA’s finest food trucks and vendors.
Thanks to the support of many, Inner-City Arts can continue to provide equal access to high-quality arts education for thousands of underserved students each year. On behalf of our Inner-City Arts family—our staff, teaching artists, and students—thank you.
And a special thank you to our Committee Co-Chairs, Geoffrey Anenberg and Mitchell Frank, for leading our team and to our Summer on Seventh Committee for their expertise and guidance.
