Increase your comfort in the Social Justice Conversation, and bring it into your learning space in a safe, relevant and authentic way.
Inner-City Arts continues its participation in global action, bringing more socially just practices to the front of teaching and learning in the arts and across the curriculum. This series will help you increase your comfort in the Social Justice Conversation, and bring it into your learning space in a safe and authentic way. Join us for one, two, or all three workshops.
The March 3rd session will focus entirely on background, context, language and laying a necessary foundation to have conversations around Social Justice in learning spaces.
This class is targeted for Educators (but Guardians/Parents are also welcome).
The second and third sessions will focus on what these ideas can look like in the Visual and Performing Arts. Taking all three sessions is recommended, but not required.
