We love summers at Inner-City Arts. It’s a wondrous time for guided discovery, innovation, relationship-building and growth. As our high school students wrap yet another creative season on our campus, they have experienced nothing short of just that!

This session, our versatile high school programming introduced teens to new interests and art forms. Some students developed their visual arts skills in workshops like Introduction to Drawing, Mask Making, Creativity through Clay, Experimental 2-D, Creativity Lab and Graphic Design. Others took to the spotlight through performance-based workshops like Youth Performance Ensemble, Comedy Project, Character Sketches & Bits, Dance, and Creative Writing. Introduction to Digital Music Production, Introduction to Guitar, and Inner-City Arts Band engaged students in their own music-making. Some students explored new digital media through Cinematography and Introduction to Video Game Design.

Peruse the gallery of photos from our two-day culmination event and showcase to see for yourself here.
