#GivingTuesday: Make a Difference
givingtuesdaynews

Today, Inner-City Arts joins thousands of organizations, charities, and individuals worldwide to celebrate #GivingTuesday — a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals and communities to encourage philanthropy and to inspire generosity worldwide. It is a day where we recognize, as a society, that positive change only happens when we all pitch in to make it happen.

Over the past 27 years we have built a campus, expanded our program offerings, and helped transform countless lives through the power of creativity and the arts. We would not have been able to accomplish this without the numerous hours of support and guidance we’ve received from our friends, family and the ever-changing, diverse community that we serve. That is a true testament; when good people come together for a cause, good things happen.

#GivingTuesday is about celebrating the joy to be found in giving. Join the movement and GIVE – whether it’s some of your time, a donation, or the power of your voice on social media and in your community.

You can support Inner-City Arts today. Sign up to volunteer on our campus, share your story about our organization on social media with your network (and tag us on twitter, instagram or facebook), or help us directly with a donation.

Our goal is to raise $80,000 before 2016 comes to an end so that we may continue in our efforts of offering high-quality arts education to the underserved youth in Los Angeles. Please join us for #GivingTuesday and make a donation not only in honor of the rich history we have, but in honor of all the work we have yet to do. We look forward to continuing this incredible journey. Happy #GivingTuesday!
